You cannot. There is no patch for OFW 4.10 which allowing CFW installation.

I have kind of similar problem , my ps3 slim2003A is not reading bluray discs but reads dvd discs what steps would you take or if you know a work around let me know please.

ps i know i can install cfw nobd but wana know if theres anyway i can get the bluray working or if anyone had similar issue and got bluray working , ive not even opened it yet.

Just replace the BD drive with another one of the same model (you'll have to remarry it if you swap the BD daughterboard).

My cechb00 console. Is it possible to install a drive with a different cechb and upgrade to ofw4.85 for a further bgtoolset patch?

can install cfw nobd

if the drive reads any discs at all, then noBD is not required. it is for drives that get no power or have faulty boards. your drive still "works" as far as ps3 knows.

BTW noBD is not ideal solution. iso games will not work under noBD.

Thanks for that info , my bd definitly is getting power just isnt reading bluray discs , disc just spins continously

One other question should i put fresh thermal paste or leave it on my slim ? And should i fully reset my fat ps3 to ofw and keep my slim on cfw

Sorry if i sound thick im kinda debating wat to do lol

EDIT : i installed cfw on slim an upgraded internal hdd with 1tb and got external 2tb wd , time to make ps3 slim dance lol

Ps : cant believe how quite the ps3 slims are tho my fat ps3 sounds like a jet engine lol
