CAN WE Bypass SONY 4.89 UPDATE USING HFW 4.88 ??

does anyone know how I can bypass PS3 4.89 update so I can login I'm running hfw 4.88 with Hen 3.0.2

Someone said I can use webman mod and a update list txt file to bypass can someone tell me if this is true and how I can do it / where to get files THANKS IN ADVANCE.

You can use a proxy server or webman to remap the ps3-updatelist , BUT IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED AS THE FW 4.89 is not fully analyzed yet, if you mind not getting banned don't use any of these tricks, wait for the HFW release

given that there's a 2FA enabled on the sony servers with 4.89 firmware, I assume this will not work.

You can not spoof, as HEN does not support it my normal means (editing index.dat and patching VSH.SELF)
Since Sony made some changes in LV1/LV2 we cant bypass, and you will need to wait until we get 4.89 HFW sorted out. I on the other hand am staying on EVILNAT 4.88 for the time being

i tried ps3 updatelist.txt many times on my slim evilnat 4.88.2 but same thing asking for update

PS3 is already dead and they still make fun of us giving us headache to this update.

The ps3 has hardware flaws that no software update can fix, they aren't necessarily releasing these updates to make life harder. Sometimes they update the bluray encryption keys so you can still watch newest movies on your ps3. I'd be thankful for that, ps3 is already 16 years old, they could've ditched it long time ago but they still let you use basic psn functionality.
