I bought a 3tb hoping to use it for game backups for my ps3 but I can't get it working I have tried 2tb fat 32 formated, ntfs formated and a mixed of both types of partitions gpt and mbr and I still can't get it going. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm on rebug 4.80 dex

You can only use 2 tb max i beleive on ps3 bc its fat 32 system. you could partition the drive 2 tb for ps3 fat32. this i know works. maybe someone might know more abput this @kozarovv

Must be formatted to fat32 and 64kb clusters to be detected and only JB folder will work and not ISO. You will also have to disable Cobra. Or you can set it up on your PC with PS3netsrv with NTFS & Cobra over a weird network. PS3 has a 2tb external limit unless handled as I described. Or you can make a 2tb partition and a 1tb partition.

I've tried formating it to fat32 and less than 2tb and it won't show up

Reread what I posted, you have to format in a special way. The cluster size is a must no matter the partition size above 2tb.
