Can't get ps2 slim 70000 model to run fdvdb.

I have a SCPH - 70000 ps2 slim
Browser: 1.40
CD Player: 2.00
Playstation Driver: 1.02
DVD Player: 3.10U
For some reason when I run the disc it goes to a black screen as if it's going to load, but then goes back to browser.Show less

I found out how to get it installed, but it required another ps2 slim. Ultimately if your were having the same issue you'd just have to buy a memory card with FMCB pre installed or do my method. Only if you run into this similar problem.
