No Bluray Disk and No BlueTooth, for systems with failed BT or/and BD.what means [noBD] [noBT] and whats the difference?
Yo man yall should start a patron account basically ppl pay you every month for services you provide them I'm pretty sure you can make it so that it's a one time payment kinda thing too but obviously yall would control everything on that side but it allows ppl to pay how they want nd yall could be getting paid for what you all do instead of just asking for donations everyone just gave sum I do feel like everything would be smoother I appreciate yall even taking the time to do any of it tho frfrDefinitely. Thanks Nat.
No. You can jailbreak your console if you're are on OFW 4.88 or lower. But you still need to use bgtoolset.Hi all,
First off, thank you for all the hard work you guys do! I have a question about the new version 4.89 Evilnat. I have read all the post and I think I understand it correctly that you can just install 4.89 Evilnat without BGTool set if you're on OFW 4.88 and have CFW 4.88.2 installed on my CECH A01 PS3? In other words, just put 4.89 on thumb drive and update to new version with nothing else needed to do. Thanks for any help!

You don't need bgtoolset if your console already has CFW or if you're on 3.55 or lower. You can upgrade or downgrade to any version (not lower than min factory version) if your CFW has QA flags enabled.
If you're on OFW or HFW 4.89 you have to wait until bgtoolset supports 4.89.
If your console is super slim or slim 3xxx or 25xx with min factory version 3.60 or higher, you cannot install CFW. Only HEN.
actually it would be 4.89.2, the first one is already 4.89.1

I tried Evilnat 4.89 cfw earlier tonight and noticed that the system temps are not displayed when pressing the PS button when running a ps2 game, regardless if it was an iso or psn classic.
I do recall seeing the temp on my other systems that are running Evilnat 4.88 cfw as it helps decide what fan speed to run with ps2 games.
Actually I was playing PS2 games on a 2001A slim recently and noticed that the temperatures weren't showing as well, and I remember seeing it on 4.88.If your PS3 system is a phat with PS2 backward compatibility, then it probably is using ps2_emu or ps2_gxemu.
The temperature mod is available only on ps2_netemu.
If you need to force that the PS2 games run with ps2_netemu, go to /setup.ps3 and enable the option "ps2_netemu".
That option turns on a setting in Cobra to switch the ps2 emulator internally when the game is mounted.
The option is only available in /setup.ps3 if the product code in the IDPS of your console is one for phat model with B/C.

Well used the ultimate toolbox(installed through webmanmod) and it showed up again, and I just updated from 4.88 to 4.89 and didn't do anything else other than updating webmanmod.I'm not sure if Evilnat included the modified ps2_netemu in 4.89
You can install Ultimate Toolbox by DeViL303 and install the ps2_netemu of your preference.
EDIT: The first post says that 4.89 should display the temperatures:
They should display if you press PS while playing a PS2 game except if some other application replaced the emulator.

I think it should be noted that with netemu "your mileage may vary". I've never used it myself personally since my model is BC but I assume it's not compatible with some games that emu and gxemu are.If your PS3 system is a phat with PS2 backward compatibility, then it probably is using ps2_emu or ps2_gxemu.
