Cheat device
A Game enhancer for PlayStation 2
similar to Action Replay, GameShark, and CodeBreaker.​

In the past I added EXFAT support to cheat device.
But now the official CheatDevice repository has been marked as archive (the project is no longer in development aka: abandoned) since Mar 18, 2023.

So I decided to work a little bit more on it to keep it up to date with the requirements of users.

Changes so far:

• EXFAT Support for USB Devices
• Support for reading cheats from files with .cht extension
• The save manager is coded to ignore the "Your System configuration" folders. Wesley forgot of the chinese version of this folder (BCDATA-SYSTEM). wich has been added to the folder blacklist
  
• save manager blacklist updated to ignore DVDPlayer and System updates folders. (c'mon, deal with them on wLaunchELF or KELFBinder 2)
• Enforced the usage of homebrew SIO2MAN, MCMAN, MCSERV and PADMAN modules. to normalize behaviour across ps2 models and to avoid corruption when writing to memory cards on ProtoKernel PS2 (unstable on-board MCMAN)
• Bundled new cheat packages both PAL and NTSC on a new layout easier to maintain (zip files containing one .cht file per game)
• Internal HDD support for reading cheats and bootin apps from same partition

Planned features:

• MX4SIO support
• HDD Support (no so sure)

Cheat device can now load cheats from PFS partitions inside APA internal HDD.

application execution is only supported for apps stored on the same partition than cheat device (for now) (via the pfs0: device)​

Hi, could you make a version that works via SMB/ethernet using OPL and with dualshock 3/4 support? and thank you for your work, it's been incredible for the PS2 scene.

Hello everybody, I'm really in trouble with this homebrew, I cannot ghet it working properly on my Hard Disk, even I am trying to get is an an APP in OPL and there is no way to get it working, could you help me, please?

how? Where do I need to put the .cht files so the CheatDevice software will read them? I don't see any option in the main menu.
