PS3 Collection of Apps Patched For NoPSN Access [Quick Download List]

Hey,

I tried a few of these, most of them loaded, some displaying screens with content to choose, but all except youtube failing to show any content.

In particular, I tried,

Crackle
Pluto
BBCiplayer

Crackle told me the content was not available in my region, is Crackle USA specific? And if i change the DNS settings on my PS3 will i be able to fool the PS3 into beileving i am actually in the USA?

Same for Pluto, and BBCiplayer, fooling PS3 into thinking i am in England?

Crackle must be US specific, since there is no NPEB (European) version as there is with Netflix, YouTube, Twitch, etc.

Regarding DNS settings, yes, I used to do this to get US Netflix (I'm in the UK). It works, but was a pain since the address would stop working after a while and I'd have to find a new one and type it in all over again. It got to the point it wasn't really worth the hassle of constantly finding a new working address.

A VPN may be a viable option for you, as it will save you the trouble I had. You can get them dirt cheap these days, and for something like Netflix or other region-specific content, it may be worth it to you. Just something to consider :)

If you know any tricks to access the BBCiplayer outside of England i would appreciate it, if i had Crackle, Youtube and BBC i dont imagine i would ever need or want anything else.

Netflix is no longer protected by PSN login.

To install that package you could do that a few ways.

You need a way to install packages. The easiest is just update to 4.85 HFW and use HEN, or if your model is cfw Compatible, then go that route.
 
You're right, @esc0rtd3w. I should have been more clear. I am trying to install Netflix without signing up for a PSN account. Hence, asking for a package file for it. I'll look into HEN and CFW as well.

I have ps3hen 4.85. I tried the youtube noPSN app. Now the only thing I see is the black screen and I have lost the youtube app as well. I tried all three versions but I get black screen only and I have to hard restart the PS3 to get back it to work. Any suggestions?

did you copy the pkgi.txt file in /dev_hdd0/game/NP00PKGI3/USRDIR/ ?

also, do you have other database files there already? if you have other files (such as "dbformat.txt" ) it won't work because the database formats are probably different
 
Can the crunchyroll app be updated? the latest version is v1.30


I think we users can test one by one to report the ones terminated

i reported some a long time ago
 
Does anybody knows if TuneIn-Radio is any way still supported?
At least Europe version (NPEB01831)?
