PS3 Compatibility List - PS2 on PS3

@mrjaredbeta can u fix
Samurai Jack - The Shadow of Aku
game randomly freeze.

Wallace Gromit: Project Zoo
gameget black screen after ps2 logo.
Samurai Jack is probably fixable. Wallace and Gromit...not skilled enough to understand that problem.

is socom 2 and 3 he only hdd games?
Actually, SOCOM II (and probably SOCOM 3) will boot as encrypted ISO/package. Game seems to works just fine this way. I assume this is a problem with Cobra's handling of ISO/HDD stuff, so only compatible through this method for now.

Cool thing about this game is that you can download exclusive missions from the Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine discs that @sandungas mentioned. I am fairly certain they will work on netemu with PS2 System Data/SOCOM partition installed.

can a ps3 cfw run encrypted iso?

Here to finish what I started:

Need for Speed: ProStreet (SLUS-21658)

Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0A 00 00 00 01 00 00 00
2C 7E 16 00 DA D4 05 0C 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
Full speed fix by disabling overlay effect.

Need for Speed: Undercover (SLUS-21801)
Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0A 00 00 00 02 00 00 00
20 58 26 00 04 00 40 10 04 00 00 10 08 64 26 00
03 00 80 10 03 00 00 10 00 00 00 00
Another full speed fix. Second code disables the overlay while first code disables some check related to it to further speed up the game.

And there we have it. All PS2 NFS games should be playable on PS3 now! :)

I haven't tried those games yet.
I don't even have words to describe this.... you just made my day !!! Thank you so much for your effort in making this games playable for us !!!! :triumphant:

Can someone port that to pal versions?

But ps2_netemu does not support the HDD, right? The maps are installed on the HDD.

I could port it of course, but there are a lot of localized PAL versions for Carbon, ProStreet and Undercover. So it might take me some days to make a config for every version.

Will you do for SLES-55006 (ProStreet) and for SLES-55353 or SLES-55352 (Undercover)? You can take your time as long as u need! For now i want test NTSC versions!

I will do for the every version I will come across.

There is no specific config for the Most Wanted. I checked once the official PKG and its config consisted of only zeroes.

I'm really not too sure. From what I can tell, yes? I was at least able to install SOCOM's partition via XMB with PS2 System Data package installed. I will try installing game data later today.

Thanks! you check most wanted or the black edition version?

This config also applies to the SLES-55002, SLES-55003, SLES-55004 and SLES-55005. It may work with a SLES-55006, so you can test @Vika23 if it does.

EDIT: It is working also with the Japanese SLPM-66932 version.

Thanks! you check most wanted or the black edition version?

The PS2 Classic version was a standard one, but it does not matter. All you have to do is disable smoothing if the frame rate drops are bothering you.

i think right code is 55006

Some games that can be added to the wiki...all NTSC, ISOs on Cobra CFW. Played each for 1-2 hours. Some are already on the list but only the PAL version.

Brothers in Arms - Earned in Blood (SLUS-21310)
Medal of Honor - European Assault (SLUS-21199)
Project - Snowblind (SLUS-21037)
Star Trek Voyager - Elite Force (SLUS-20227)
Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (SLUS-21143)
Star Wars Jedi Starfighter (SLUS-20293)
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon (SLUS-20613)
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon - Jungle Storm (SLUS-20820)
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 (SLUS-20883)

Warhammer 40,000 - Fire Warrior (SLUS-20597): listed as playable, but has some very minor issues. When there is a lot of action on-screen, the graphics can get a little...blurry? (most noticeable while a text box is being displayed) There is also some jitter/screen shake, I first noticed it near the end of the first level when it starts raining artillery.
