PS3 Compatibility List - PS2 on PS3

Here to finish what I started:

Need for Speed: ProStreet (SLUS-21658)

Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0A 00 00 00 01 00 00 00
2C 7E 16 00 DA D4 05 0C 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
Full speed fix by disabling overlay effect.

Need for Speed: Undercover (SLUS-21801)
Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0A 00 00 00 02 00 00 00
20 58 26 00 04 00 40 10 04 00 00 10 08 64 26 00
03 00 80 10 03 00 00 10 00 00 00 00
Another full speed fix. Second code disables the overlay while first code disables some check related to it to further speed up the game.

And there we have it. All PS2 NFS games should be playable on PS3 now! :)

Well, was test NTSC versions of both games! Plays very good. Undercover one reminds me vice city a little:emmersed::emmersed::emmersed:

Undercover one feels like more fps then ProStreet! Anyway its playble now!

But ps2_netemu does not support the HDD, right? The maps are installed on the HDD.
Ah yes, seems HDD is not detected ingame regardless of having PS2 System Data/partition installed. That sucks. I would have thought it would work just because ISO through webMAN is unbootable due to some sort of issue regarding HDD path(?).

I was doing some tests with Visual Mix: Ayumi Hamasaki Dome Tour 2001 with PS2 Classics Placeholder and couldn't get the disc selector to show...encrypted both discs as ISO.BIN.ENC and ISO.BIN.ENC2 with their respective configs encrypted/saved as CONFIG and CONFIG2. Configs include serial number as well as "00 02 00" and "00 02 01" at the end of config, same as Grandia III's store release config. I have also included DISC.IDX, the two byte file of zeroes, into the directory as it is in Grandia's package, to no avail.

Not sure what I am doing wrong. Its unfortunate, as a majority of the concert stuff and all extras are not accessible without being able to switch disc. That being said, I am unsure netemu is even able to switch discs without having to reset the emu. I know ps1_netemu and PSP's POPS emu does it just fine, but unsure of this PS2 emu. :(

Samurai Jack is probably fixable. Wallace and Gromit...not skilled enough to understand that problem.

Actually, SOCOM II (and probably SOCOM 3) will boot as encrypted ISO/package. Game seems to works just fine this way. I assume this is a problem with Cobra's handling of ISO/HDD stuff, so only compatible through this method for now.

Cool thing about this game is that you can download exclusive missions from the Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine discs that @sandungas mentioned. I am fairly certain they will work on netemu with PS2 System Data/SOCOM partition installed.
I dont know well how works the PS2 HDD installation in PS3, is a feature exclusive for only 3 games (Final Fantasy XI, Nobunaga Ambition Online, Socom), and game_ext_plugin.sprx is directly involved with it because it contains the info to create the virtual PS2 HDD images specific for each game identifying them by his game ID
https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps3/PS2_Emulation#TitleID.2FDiscID_in_game_ext_plugin.sprx

Dunno, i cant help much in the research of this feature, is something that always called my attention, but i never had a BC PS3 model that could me help to understand how it was working originally

This config applies to the SLES-55350, SLES-55353 and SLPM-55127 also. It may work with the SLES-55349, SLES-55351 and SLES-55352.

@aldostools, you can duplicate the ProStreet's config once more for the SLPM-66932 version.
