@nictse Wasn't able to fix it, sorry. I am not really sure what is causing it. It seems PCSX2 has problems properly displaying the game in hardware mode even in latest revision...maybe the problem is similar?

Btw for Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2, it requires a config to fix screen shakes. Don't know the exact one, but I think it's the same one for Nocturne? Also I wonder if it's possible to fix the ending crash in Lucifer's Call (PAL name for Nocturne) or to port the SMT Configs to Japanese?

Oh sorry. From what I've heard the official ps2 classic for lucifer's call crashes after Kagutsuchi (i heard tde but not sure about other endings) unless the game is French and running at 50hz. (The issue doesn't happen in US Nocturne).

this ending crash happen on the ps2 original hardware?

I think nocturne japan works without any config according to the list.

Doubt it. Also doesn't nocturne have l2h enabled to prevent screen shaking and crashes?

EDIT: And Japan didn't receive any SMT games on PSN store for some inexplicable reason.

Doesn't L2H improvement fix screen shakes for Digital Devil Saga 2?
Yes, I used Nocturne's config with some minor edits and it basically fixed it. Also funny enough turning off vsync in dds1 fixes cutscene desync (but causes some minor screen shaking when there are a lot of npcs)

why u aren't simple using the avaliable config?
I am. It just seems weird that something like DDS2's config isn't available on any repo (even though it's an official classic) and I may have been hoping there was something that could be done with Nocturne's PAL version. Sorry if I'm wasting your time.

Not wasting anyone's time, but I am not sure what is causing the freeze with Nocturne. Is it a soft lock (you can exit game through PS button menu) or is it a hard lock (PS3 signal lost/console shut down)?

isn't that game an official ps2 classic?the game is crashing even on sony release?

Hmmm.isn't ur iso the problem?i am pretty sure sony test all games and they need to be fully playable,do u have a save next to the crash?maybe @mrjabeta can fix it.
I haven't actually played the pal version (only heard about the Kagatsuchi crash with the official PS3 version through posts on Reddit). I wonder if it's possible to convert NTSC save to PAL as there's one before the disco ball on gamefaqs.
