PS3 Compatibility List - PS2 on PS3

I put together all of the 0x0E addresses needed for the Secret Agent Clank config (currently at 32 different addresses, lol), so I just need to find the "robot falling through the floor" address to complete the config. I already limited it down quite a bit, so will most likely be posting a "full fix" config with no performance impact tomorrow.

looks like pretty hard game for fix)

Some configs:

3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 21 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 00
Fixes stuttering audio on main menu. Character miscalculations still exist.

Im check it, looks like it work, but as i notice it have FMV tearing too, maybe u can fix it too?

Secret Agent Clank (SCUS-97623)
Code:

0E 00 00 00 50 33 49 00 26 00 00 00 B8 34 34 00
DC 35 34 00 00 00 00 00
Fixes run/walk miscalculations by 0x0E patches and fixes the "robot falling through the floor" bug that breaks the game with 0x26 patch (there's 4 math opcodes but did the lazy Sony way of patching whole function instead). This may or may not be the final config since the save file I used didn't have the last level unlocked (I think), but everything else should be fixed. :)

EDIT: Btw, the order of the 0x0E patches in the config are: Clank missions, Ratchet missions, Qwark missions, and Clank's special mission. And maybe the max amount of 0x0E is 32? I didn't attempt more, but this is not breaking netemu even with 32 0x0E commands.

Some configs:

Burnout 3: Takedown (SLUS-21050)
Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0A 00 00 00 02 00 00 00
28 5F 66 00 01 01 01 01 00 00 01 01 80 53 13 00
A8 BA 60 AC A8 BA 43 34 13 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
60 F9 00 00 21 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0C 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Adds command 0x21 set to 0 and 0x0C set to 0 like in gx config. 0x21 fixes FMV tearing on intro and improves performance ingame...FMV looping bug still exists on menu. Unknown what 0x0C does.

Burnout Revenge (SLUS-21242)
Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0A 00 00 00 01 00 00 00
B8 E7 BF 01 01 01 01 01 00 00 01 01 21 00 00 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Adds 0x21 set to 0 to improve performance. This one is untested.

Was test it! Woah i think is best configs for these games, looks like game have really full speed now act as 60FPS, and as i see it still keep visual effects!

from where can you download the config ?

Jitter issue with Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance reported by @Forusim on Github
https://github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/issues/551
As you may know the games with the Snowblind engine have graphical glitches, when run in the PS3 emulation.
With the available configs the glitches are mostly gone.
However the whole picture and menus jitters/shaking like crazy, which is not enjoyable either.

The higher the VSYNC DELAY the less jitter is occurring, but also the motion is slowed down.
I found that 500.000 is a good compromise between jitter and slowdown.

I would ask the developers to look into the CONFIG file especially for the VSYNC related settings.
So there is no need to open the debug menu on every launch of this game.
Ideally there is a flag, which eliminates the jitter without slowing down the game.

It is not a compromise by any means. It is an insane amount of delay making every cutscene desynchronized and having the game slowed down all the time. If someone is bothered by the jitter, I recommend to obtain a no interlace patch from the PCSX2 forums and apply it to the ISO using the PS2 Patch Engine. That patch eliminates the jitter at the expense of the lower quality of the image with the text hard to read sometimes. It is the reason why it is not suitable to include it into the config. No Dark Alliance games would probably be ever playable with full speed all the time on the netemu.

The AI in Stuntman will never be fixed on PS3 because the math accuracy is too unconventional. Some accuracy commands improve the paths to an extent, but the car will always crash later in the scene.
And it could be posible to create a cheat-patch to bypass that scene ?
Im talking in general, i dont realy know how many things are available to do by patching game functions, but as far i could see you are able to identify some of them, modify them, etc.. sooo... maybe is posible to "lock" the car handling function to pass that point where it crashes ?... or just bypassing that scene entirelly... or delete the car polygonal object for that scene... or relink the car to a bike, dunno

Btw, i was thinking also in this kind of modifications for other problematic games, as far i remember there is some game that presents problems only if we change the brightness/gamma settings... so... have you thought in "deleting" that option from the game settings menu ?
I mean... if that option is causing problems, the best solution by now is to delete it, this way the player cant change it and the game will use the defaults settings for it

Just added FIFA World Cup 2006 to the database, game isn't great but thought it should be added anyway lol, european version is playable with minor stuttering, others untested... I would assume that means FIFA 06-11 are playable as I believe they use the same engine but I'll give them a proper go whenever I have more time. I was wondering if anyone ever tried to fix the corrupted sprites on FIFA Street 2 btw?

Sadly all fifa games soon or later is crash, im play fifa 07 and 08 and is crashed after 2-3 match

@sandungas Good suggestions, but that solution just isn't feasible since the problem exists in every level with an AI driver. The only bypass would be to just use a completed save file to access all levels, I guess. The same problem is with Driv3r, which I haven't looked into extensively, but the AI is just as bad.

@Vika23 Do you know if all FIFA games act like that? Were you testing the European versions? And what exactly was the problem: freeze, black screen, PS3 shutdown, emulator menu not accessible, etc.?

How would complete save helped? You mean just in accessing the content, not exactly being able to play it properly, correct?
