PS3 Compatibility List - PS2 on PS3

@Agrippa The last revision to gxemu was done in 4.78 judging from the table on the PS2 Emulation page. It's not out of the question that it has been fixed, but it would be odd if it was fixed in gxemu and not netemu.

This video shows Street Fighter EX3 not having any texture issues as seen on the original video posted by @Leonardo Meireles:

More testing is the only answer to know if it's actually fixed or not.

All emulators were updated at the same time. But it does not mean the update itself was significant by any means. The video you posted does not include any info it was recorded on the CECHC model at all.

@Leonardo Meireles Keep testing. ;)

@Agrippa There is more than enough evidence that it is running on gxemu:

1.) HEN is not enabled
2.) Slowdown during fights
3.) Not freezing w/ HUD showing
4.) Description says phat
5.) Comment from uploader says he is playing from original disc

We do not need any written confirmation in this case. I can tell which PS2 emu is being used in a YouTube video from the aspect ratio of the image alone.

Does anyone know if there is a CONFI for Constantine and cowboy bebop for ps3? They both work well in fps but have graphical errors or bugs. cowboy bebop shows me on a black screen in various parts of the game and constantine has a bug in the second mission in the trash

Is it possible to fix Ridge racer v?

On twitter someone asked me for button sensitivity support for Ridge Racer V.

Ridge Racer V (SLUS-20002, SLES-50000, SLPS-20001, SLPS-71502, SLPM-60109)
Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 50 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

It's untested. It's the same config for Burnout and Formula One that fixes the button pressure sensitivity.

Please confirm me if it works before include it in the database.

It looks good to me. I have been omitting the 00 00 00 00 terminator at the end of the recently posted configs as it is not needed. In fact, it was recently uncovered that command 0x3D is unneeded as well, but it is pretty much convention at this point to include it.

I also have this config as someone posted about it on the compatibility list:

Speed Kings (SLUS-20584)
Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0A 00 00 00 01 00 00 00
98 B4 22 00 05 00 60 10 05 00 00 10 46 00 00 00

Speed Kings (SLES-50848)
Code:
3D 00 00 00 57 44 00 00 0A 00 00 00 01 00 00 00
28 EE 22 00 05 00 60 10 05 00 00 10 46 00 00 00
These are untested as I recreated them based on Prafull's PCSX2 patch. They should work fine. Climax games also require command 0x46 to improve GS downloads related performance (L2H improvement).

Thanks. I will add them to the database. If there is any bad report I can remove them later.

If I'm correct 3D 00 00 00 is a magic number to identify the config file, instead of a command.
Same as 57 44 00 00 that should be optional too, since it's a revision number. I suggest to keep them.

Even removing the terminator 00 00 00 00 is trivial since the config file is very small and it only saves 4 bytes.

Can you upload your memory card or save for both games so I can see where they freeze? You can upload in any format (.VM2, .VME, whatever).

Thanks for fixing this. Could I ask if there is a way to also fix broken textures on cars and the occasional screen jump?
As far as I can tell, no. The slowdown in the intro can be fixed, though.

is hen compatibility different from cfw?
It's the same.

Hey guys,

for me the PS2 version of Xyanide: Resurrection has a few graphical glitches, especially in the background. It seems there is no config file available.
Does anyone ran into that, too?

Thank you kindly
Ben

Half Life mods for PS2 doesn't work.
-Blue Shift
-PC Conversion
-Crack Life

Give me a black screen, but the console does not crash. You can still access the PS menu and exit.
I use PS3 Hen, so testing the game is time consuming. hope some with more experiencie can check those games better

TY the Tasmanian Tiger (SLUS-20571, SLES-51220)

21 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue (SLUS-21057, SLES-52709)
