Any ideas for fixing the screen shaking on Stuntman SLUS-20250? I've tried a few commands, mainly 0x46 and 0x48 with the different parameters, but it either makes no difference or makes the screen go black. I will do some more testing, but hopefully someone else can help.

Realy wish there was a solution for Ace Combat games loos like nothing can fix those :(, Ace Combat Shattered Skies is actualy playable but after a while i just loose the mojo to play it because of the ground textures are always fliquering.

Find myself playing instead the psp one ace combat skies of deception.

UPDATE: OMG OMG OMG LOL i just tested one of the config files from the list on the links and no more fliquering, full speed, loadings fast as hell on ace combat shattered skies USA :) if same conifg works on ace combat 5 im going to ibernate for a while, but cant test on those now

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel [US][ISO]
Spawn: Armageddon [US][ISO]
Final Fantasy X/X-2 [EU][ISO]
all runs great on Cobra CFW. Played for a minimum of 10-20h without issues.
Will report more games as I dig thru my 600+ game library. Takes some time to rip the discs, tho. :)

Hehe nice, that configs for ace combat games are specific for each Title ID because are using netemu command 0x0B (this command is used to apply patches over the game iso), so using the config for ace combat 4 in 5 is not going to work
But there are a lot more configs for the other ace combat games and all them uses the same command (are applying an accurate patch for that disc) so im guessing all them should work :)
Actually, incase some of the ace combat games seems to works fine without config... i suggest to use the config anyway, because if sony patched the game officially it should be for some reason, maybe the bug is not notable while playing a little but at some point matching with some game event there is an error (and the patch was made to fix it)
So... well... i would use that configs initially... until proved wrong that configs are "the official way"

There are a lot (the 3 ace combats published for PS2 * several regions and releases)
Ace Combat 4 - Shattered Skies: SLUS_201.52
Ace Combat 5 - The Unsung War: SLUS_208.51
Ace Combat Zero - The Belkan War: SLUS_213.46 <-- my favourite btw, and there is a widescreen patch for it too

Ace Combat - Distant Thunder: SCES_504.10
Ace Combat - Squadron Leader: SCES_524.24
...that for other regions too

Im going to test ace combat unsung war today, will give feedback when i can

Nfs underground 2 demo from burnout 3 disk runs better then full game. Just in case
Not sure if you have tryed with the config file, but just for the record if someone wants to do an test...

There are configs for NFS underground 2... and are using a very basic command (a switch without data)
And there are configs for burnout 3 takedown... and are using that same command (interesting coincidence hmmm) + two more commands that are also very basic (are setting a couple of values = 0)

So... im wondering if the config for burnout 3... could work in NFS underground 2 ?
Initially it should (the first command matches what sony was doing officially)... and the other two commands seems to be disabling something (so maybe increases the performance)

Cool, report back if success :)

Note i just edited my message, i was not sure how many was published for PS2 because the different names by region, but are just 3 games

Tested SLUS20851 Ace comat 5 Unsung war with the 2 config files from this id and also the SLPS25418 config files in it, game works but none of the files fixes the fliquering squares on the ground as the config for shatered skies does.

Also this game as problems with missiles passing trough enemies, happened while doing the mission to defend a frigate. to bad ill pass this one.

@sandungas what is that patch and how to apply it? i got AC The Belkan war USA here to test

This ones... as a general rule try both configs (the one extracted from gxemu and the other from softemu) because could be different
Are you sure you are using the correct ones ?, your games was SLUS20851 and SLUS21346
And other thing you should check is the MD5 of your ISO... because what i mentioned before, this configs for ace combat games are applying a patch at a very accurate position of the ISO
If your ISO has been modifyed for some reason... then the patch is not going to be applyed at the correct position and is not going to work

So try to search in google for the MD5 of the original dumps of that games, and verify with yours... maybe this is why the config for ace combat the unsung war did not work to you

The widescreen patches are in pnach format, there are patches for all the ace combat games (woooho, this motivates me to play them), you can see them here http://ps2wide.net/

Needs to be applyed permanently to the ISO (either in PC or with managunz)... this is by now, because im guessing is posible to convert all that pnach patches (and any action max replay or any other loader discs) to the official config format... all that patches are literally "patching" the ISO at an specific position... and the official config format allows for that and much more, there are a couple of commands dedicated to that + 80 more for other tasks
As someone said in reddit (i remember the sentence because i agreeded), the potential of this official config files is huge

--------------------
And btw, imo the easyer way to do all this is with managunz, iirc contains a database of MD5 (or CRC dunno) to verify the integrity of your PS2 ISO (this way you know for sure the configs that does some patching are going to patch the correct position), it allows also to apply that widescreen patches and contains a database with all the widescreen patches and other video modes know
And it can manage config files too... this ones for ace combat you are reporting working most probably are going to be included in the next managunz release :)

Is there a fix for Shin Megami Tensei Nocturen NTSC-U iso on cobra cfw? Game freezes after leaving the hospital with a white screen when the old lady tells you to look up at the sky. its roughly 1 to 2 hours in the game after the first boss. I used managunz to run the game but still get the same freezing

Star Wars Battlefront II still freeze US. EU works
Marvel Nemesis - Rise of the Imperfects still that same problem, lag and massive glitch
Big mutha truck 2 now work witch little flickering hud, playable
Timesplitters 2 still that same problem
Need for Speed - Underground 2 (USA) better but still low fps
Project Eden (USA) - work
Savage Skies (USA) - work
State of Emergency 2 [NTSC-U] [SLUS-20966] work
Street Racing Syndicate - work
Star Wars Battlefront I - work

For me its still dont work, i try configs from both folders, and always get "no signal".
Maybe its my problem, i use habib 4.81+mm4.81, old configs works for me.
