PS3 Console Total Powered On Time (WebMAN Mod 1.47.25.3+ feature)

This method is really great.
The method of calculating this time is different from the amount of hard drive working time.
My ps3 has been working for 28 days, but my hard drive has been working for 55 days.

But i don't know what happen to this time if you restore setting to default or flash a new firmware on device

The average session time of your console is 1 hour. Even counting the 25 bad shutdowns, the estimated runtime of your console should be about 30 days or less than 720 hours. Maybe your disk was used for 600 hours in other tasks or the runtime statistics stored in SYSCON was reset at some point.

Idk if this is updated, but here's my personal cecha. Has normal 90nm gpu, when I got it the laser was dead and I put new thermal paste but no delids. One of the nec tokins may be going out but only gt6 crashes on one track. This is a pic from around when I first got it before I cleaned it out fully.

Hi Everyone,

Not trying to show off by any means, I know it is low, but is it THAT low that the right thing would be to preserve it? She's a CECHE, she's delidded already and set up for safe use.

Thanks.

Well that thing is probably around 15-16 years old now, backwards compatible and it was only used for like 400 hours max? It's your decision but I would surely not use it regularly. :congratulatory:

I preserved my 40€ CECHC04 for the future, after I saw the following stats.

I took the console and put it back into its box onto my shelf. The console has never been opened (warranty sticker in tact) and I do not plan to open it. Surely thermal paste is completely dry, that's why I turn it on maybe once monthly and just chill at the XMB for 5 mins then turn it off again. Webman is set to 68C max so even if I should use it once, hopefully it won't overheat.

I checked the stats for both my HFW consoles as well. CECH-3004B:

Have you guys cross checked this with the hard drive hours to see if they about match?
if it is the original hard drive, it will show a number greater than this method does. the difference is due to the bad shutdowns. it seems that the new run time is added to the total during shutdown. lots of improper shutdowns would keep the "total" time low. (a few bad shutdowns can cause a big difference IF the ps3 is left running for days/weeks and then shutdown improperly.

Wow this one is crazy I got from one of my brother's ex girlfriends. I had it sitting around for like 2 years not doing anything with and finally running HEN on it and got all set up and was curious lol. But scheiße.

still alive and kicking, hdmi port has been finally fixed, it has been upgraded to a 1tb hdd from the 160gb it came with, everything still works apart from the random hen black screen and the only other weird issue is that it has started to shut down the controllers after 2 minutes of idle time no matter what the setting its set to, but if the setting is disabled (so dont turn them off) the controller wont turn off, werid but whatever it still works.

no idea what the highest ever recorded run time is now, i think i once saw a 900+ days one on reddit

Got a PS3 FAT CECHC the other day. it has only minor blemishes.

Console reports 17 days, HDD reports 18 days. so that checks out.

BD-400 drive was dead, put in a BD-410 and repasted.

I updated to 3.55.4 rebug first and then straight to 4.91.2 Evilnat. The console had been on for about an hour with the updates. Easiest jailbreak ever. I opened it up and it was super clean. I didn't delid and I just replaced the thermal pasted and added booters CPU pad.

A 2000+ day CECHK?? Do you have any photos of it because it could very well be the highest runtime PS3 ever recorded, it's 55,000 hours of runtime! 6 years of runtime!

This is after 20 minutes on the XMB, it behaves the same in games, Last of Us brings it up to 40% fanspeed (the max I've set) and it sits on 70C RSX 64-66 Cell, the console is clean and has been repasted recently, should I be looking to delid the RSX to bring the temps down a bit or would this be fine? (every other game that I have maintains the 68C target at either 30-35-40% fanspeed, the cell is always 5-8 degrees cooler than the RSX) PS2 emulation is set at 40% fan speed and works llike a charm by hitting the temp target.

I can try finding it. But from my experience, sometimes when you swap the coin battery for a new one, and somehow it confuses this data calculation. I've seen one with reasonable uptime, around a couple of hundred days, but after I done the battery swapping and final assembly then go to webman to check temperature, I noticed the uptime went skyrocket to thousands of days.
