Sorry, I am new to this. I got the UPDAT.pup file and put it inside of UPDATE folder which was inside of PS3 folder. But my ps3 is saying it cant find any applicable updates. How is this resolved?

I dunno then. Check your spelling and path. make sure usb storage is FAT32.

Well Rebug toolbox is for Rebug CFW, not HAN. Are you on CFW or OFW?

I mean, in HAN toolbox >> advanced >> dex xmb setup there's debug settings installer/remover and toggle debug settings but neither of them worked. I probably did something wrong but I don't know.

Yes, like it says in the HAN Toolbox release info, those options are only for people who understand Debug settings and exactly what is happening.

Also it is explained in the Debug settings release thread that Debug settings are not for everyone, and that it is important to not try to sign in with them enabled, as it has a very good chance of getting you a ban.

The easiest way to revert is to install 4.82 OFW, then restore system settings to default (if you changed any Debug settings).

Thank you for your time. I ended up just going into safe mode and the ps3 recognized the update.
