now there is active action on RSX OC thread, for those having problems running mfwbuilder, some maybe helpful tips (win7 based):

- make sure no whitespace in path (it should work nevertheless, but still a precaution when using script language)
- update keys with batch file to latest (should improve my batch skills to make it more clear and easiear)
- copy "ps3keys" folder to the user root directory (old tools still search for this path)
- make all executables in "tools" folder having admin rights
- important: set path options in configuration
- when using a CFW to mod, you have to use scetool to resign, cause the firmware developers use it for compression. just disable the 'self_rebuilder'/'iso_rebuilder' global option

just to let you know, I have no experience with win7+ so I cannot troubleshoot and help there

to check if there are problems with specific executables, you could use Windows Event Display, which will log unusual program termination

I can confirm it works fine on windows 11.

btw, a bit offtopic but still helpful for modders, if you add 9.99 keys to scetool, you will be able to decrypt any updated self, but without actual keys, you won't be able to encrypt them back of course
