how stupid could you possibly be, to get ban on han?
Can you at least provide some evidence and information like what game did you play, what did you do before getting ban. You can't expect someone to believe what you're saying without providing any information. Or better yet, check if you're actually banned, not because you can't log in to psn, doesn't mean you're ban.

I've never told anyone this before just so I don't tempt fate or jinx myself, but I've been using my PSN account since 2008 when I first bought my PS3. I hacked that PS3 in 2010 with one of the off brand jailbreak dongles. Then I got a slim PS3 and installed CFW when it came out (cant remember the year). Throughout all this time, I have used the same PSN account and I have never been banned.

I personally think a big reason to me not being banned is I don't really play online anymore and when I did, it was rare and I never griefed any other players. If you get reported to sony for any reason, I think this is when the banhanner risk increases.

I am able to login to PSN and use the store. I usually log out if I use an app like multiman. My PS3 is always connected to the internet, but logged out of PSN during usual usage. Anyway I hope this puts your mind at ease if you use your PS3 the way I do. STLcardsWS is so right when he says that most people lie about how they got banned. Going online with a game you have pirated and then being a troll or cheating (infinite health etc) in competitive online games will get you banned very fast.

its almost impossible to get banned, but playing too much online or adding mods to games u got with ps3xploit can get u banned thats very possible for sure.

You don't provide more details and proofs about you ban and you get angry because your own foolish actions, plus someone pointed out you used the leaked exploit

Hi,
I Have One Freind Who Got BAN With PS3XPLOIT Dex Installer, he was checking if psn works or not after some hours, he try to sign in or smthing and then he got error like 8002A227 i don't know what it means but after searching this error i knew that this was ban error... > but after few hours he restored his firmware with pup file and then he was able to sign in to ps3 and download games ( i dont know how this happened)

Dex mode blocks your online connection to psn,unless you are using cfw you cant make dex go online.When he reinstalled ofw,it wiped the dex hybrid files installed to your dev_flash folder connected to your motherboard.

The best advice to never get banned is to never take the unit online. That being said, you can always take helpful steps:
Cobra w/ homebrew blocker
PsnPatch
SENEnabler
Charles Proxy
Ubnt device in Station/router mode attached to wireless router
Never cheat while online
Don't run homebrew while online
DEX is for development purposes only, stay in CEX
Treat your ps3 like a trap car, you make yourself look as legit as possible and don't break any rules to get attention brought to yourself and you might be able to see your kids tomorrow... lol

I see no reason why HAN itself or any exploits involved would cause any more of a ban risk than we've already had. Especially as HAN and ps3xploit were designed after 4.82 was out. They would need to issue an entirely new firmware update to actually be able to do anything about it other than account bans.

I'm not saying I know what they see or anything like that, but, with so many devs that have worked on the ps3 for this long, i'm sure somebody ran wireshark on the information being passed from the ps3. Too many paranoids to not have this happen.

Has anyone heard how long they are keeping the network up for ps3? I'm afraid that might be the next big sony move on the ps3...
