PS3 Disc Dumper

i compiled a test of this but dont see settings or option to dump game :/
The experimental features are added temporally to the "floating options window" of the main menu of the filemanager
Enter the filemanager and press triangle button in the "root" of the explorer window and select the option named "Test2"
The disc image is created at path: "/dev_hdd0/tmp/bdvd.iso"

Edit:
It seems is needed to uncomment line 25651 to enable the "Test2" option in the floating menu

It's possible but if I remember correctly, it's not planned, I don't see the point to to that.
You can just make a decrypted dump.
Fyi, I think Ps3netserv suppport it already.

Best Disc Dumper to protect against DRE? MultiMan seems to timeout & power down the drive, then DRE,
I can't get inFamous BCES-00609 to dump with it.

Sure it's not required and ps3netsrv does indeed support it. But it still would be nice to have it, without the need for an external server.
If it wouldn't consume too much memory / cpu power that is.
At least I'd support this idea for the sake of preservation of accurate disc dumps (Redump.org).

If You have working ODD in PS3 You can, but someone with broken optical drive in console can just dump game on PC (keys can be find on warez; eventually someone with specific game title could dump them for such person). This eliminating additional step for decrypting images on PC (and not all peoples want or like network streaming solutions like ps3netserver).

And the last point of that is to have proper dump for preservation purpose instead of crippled (similar situation like on Xbox; it is easy to dump game files but making proper dump and extract XDFS from it, is time expensive, and there is no XGD disc image solution even today; just like in PS3 case).
