Does HFW 4.84.2 have RSOD Bypass? If not is it possible to be added?

Hi.

I have a PS3 on 4.82 OFW that was NEVER Jailbreaked and as soon as i turn it on I get a RSOD screen.

Unable to do downgrade the only way I found to fix it is with a flasher but since I don't even know if the thing will work i'm waiting for a way to try to fix it true the FSM.

Since HFW can be directly installed true the FSM if it had the RSOD Bypass i could try to fix it by downgrading and using something like the Rogero_RSOD_patch_3.55 or something else.

Tks.

no it does not have rsod patch and is imposiible to add it as it needs to be official as possible so it can not be done.

The hardware flasher will help you fix it, but there's some steps to take. and you might need to solder.

That right now is the only current way to solve it.

Official firmware has one modification to become HFW. This "modified" file isn't modified, either.
As soon as you start changing and modifying files, you can't repack them into an install-able pup for OFW
We don't have the keys to sign it.

Things that people want HFW to have that it won't:
RSOD fix
NoBD/NoBT
Homebrew/backup managers/cobra
BD Remarry
Modified Eboots/sprx

Basically HFW isn't anything more than a stepping stone or tool to get you to the next step.

Also of note, pre-existing problems can cause bigger issues down the road when trying to troubleshoot. It's the equivalent of when you have a ball of tangled wires in a drawer, and trying to figure out which one goes where, or which one you need.

That is why i don't want to buy a flasher just to find out that the console have more problems...

Tks anyway... I will keep waiting for a FSM way to fix it or try to find someone to borrow a flasher.

Can you give more details? I have a CECH-30xxx (KTE-001) console on which rsod occurred, NOR memory has been replaced.

I can take a dump.
