Ok, so, I attempted to download 4.84 on my two ps3's,one slim and one superslim. I managed to install on my slim, but my stupid brain cant comprehend something. Will the HFW for 4.84 on HDD work for a super slim? Also, do the letters in CECH matter? Because mine is CECH-4xxxB.

HFW is basically OFW. EVERY ps3 can take HFW (as of right now)
CFW is a different story. cech4xxx cannot take cfw.

HFW allows HAN via ps3xploit. you can use this on any system w/ HFW and on systems w/ 4.82 ofw
