Hi there, I have a ps3 Super slim (cech4003c) with broken wifi/blutooth module. I got error 8002F1F9 while installing the ofw and before i was in hen but it kept stuck and wasn't able to load So i wanted to delete everything and start a frsh by installing a new version OFW I am on OFW 4.85,about bt i just happed suddenly as i hav been reading many threads its possible to work out if i change drivers
But i need to know what to change i am a noob please help me and am sorry for disturbance
My ps3 can't update and it keeps on failing and restarting( loop)
 
With broken ODD/BT/WiFi You cannot install any firmware on PS3/PS4/PS5. This is time bomb designed by Sony to force on You buying new console, parts or to use their service.
 
It is until You fix BT. If You would have CFW, this can be bypassed by installing CFW with noBT patches but on none-compatible consoles, especially without working environment, You are out of luck. If You would have CFW with EID Root Key dumped, You would be able to exit boot loop by cleaning dev_hdd1 partition on PC. But Yours model is currently capable to run only HEN, so none of those things could be applied in Your case.

If You decide to send console for repair, make sector by sector disk image because console can back with empty HDD.

Thanks very much i will try to send it for repair although i don't know what will be repaired and what is sector by sector disk image repair sorry for being dumb

I wrote: sector by sector disk image. Which means making image of HDD with literally every sector. If PS3 comes back repaired but with empty HDD, then You writing it back and not loosing any data.

Thanks so much i will give feed back although i have no problem with data loss Since i have been formatting it over and over when i was trying to make the update work
 
Hello, I have a ps3 slim model 3001A, is there any OFW to skip the bluetooth module?
where I live there are no technicians.
 
There is no way to bypass ODD/BT/WiFi check on any other firmwares than special builds CFW, today and future. Since Your model is CFW incompatible, then You must fix console to update/install any firmware.
