PS2 ESR Stopped Booting Discs That Once Booted
Hey guys! Hoping you can help me figure this out because it's driving me nuts!
I happen to be one of those people that prefer discs rather than using OPL and booting from the HDD.
I figured out how to patch and burn discs for use with ESR so I decided to burn a bunch of them.
Each disc was tested and confirmed to boot up just fine as well as I made sure to play them for about 10mins or so to get through many of the different screens.
I repeated this process for several games, probably around 50. Once confirmed working, I put all of them in cases and printed labels and cover art. Obviously this took several hours. All of this has been within the past week so these are extremely new discs.
However now when I try to play them, 90% of them seem to no longer work with ESR. All of them trigger and load ESR but either get stuck on the purple or blue screen or make it past that but stay on a black screen and never load.
It seems to make no difference if I am using composite or component cables and I have tried on 3 different televisions from an old Sony Wega to a Sony 1080p XBR.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
