How can I access the files when thez are bigger than 4 GB on Fat32. I read that Webman and Multiman CAN access them.
This is completlz new to me. Because I uploaded the files onto the internal HDD. But that thing isa full of software from the store.
PS3 XMB only supports natively external storage devices formatted in FAT32 or FAT16 IIRC.
ExFAT is only displayed by Simple File Manager, which has been integrated into IRISMAN, multiMAN MOD and Apollo Save Tool MOD. PrepISO for webMAN MOD supports scanning the files but don't let list the files.
NTFS is similar, except that multiMAN can list the files in read only mode. ManaGunZ, IRISMAN and Movian can manage the files in read write mode.
Some disks will not ne visible if there are multiple partitions. Only the primary partition is visible. Also some cluster sizes are not handled by the exfat or ntfs libraries used by the aforementioned homebrews.
Webman native exfat support for split drives would be nice. Would save alot of hassle of having to reformat between uses and consoles. Example being ps5 supports exfat and not ntfs (stock firmware). Not a NEEDED feature, but would be cool. Also as I write this my external is primary exfat, and second it fat32 and still it dont show. Of course these results are from my end of things. It may be different for others.
@GuilloteTesla I know that Fat32 is just 4 GB allowed.
So I cannot acces the files even when I'm in EXFAT or #NTFS. I thought that it works with EXFat or NTFS.
