PS3 External HDD

Hi gamers,
Guys I need help, cannot make the Seagate Game Drive for PS4 - it's 4TB - (model SRD00F1) being recognized in PS3 with CFW (Rebug).
Tried Irisman, WebMan, mmCM, FAT32, NTFS all with MBR (and of course the space was cut to 2TB due to MBR limitation)

Can somebody help me with this problem?

I have an Patriot USB 3.0 with 64GB and formatted as FAT32 and it works... why the hell this HDD doesn't work!?

I had this exact same problem with a Hitachi 2TB NTFS MBR external hard drive as well, thought it was my enclosure. No matter what I did the PS3 just refused to recognize it (Webman Mod, Irisman, Multiman, prepNTFS..). Luckily I had an old 750GB IDE external hard drive with a few ISOs loaded and it works fine with the PS3. So what I did was hooked up the 2 external hard drives to the laptop and used MiniTool Wizard and cloned the working hard drive to the 2TB. Now the PS3 recognizes it no problem, you might wanna give that method a shot.
 
I am having the exact same issues myself.

I have tried about 5 different formating methods, all with MBR, all limiting the size of the format, tried 512gb, 1tb, 1.5tb, and full 2tb. (this is an old sata 3 toshiba internal drive in an external USB2.0 enclosure) and the PS3 just will not detect the drive at all. Even tried cloning a flash drive that I know works. Tried fat32, tried ntfs, and all of the different custom packages. Nothing I do gets the PS3 to see this external hard drive and I have been working on this for the last 3 days. new USB 2.0 cord. even a slow format that took almost 20 hours. I searched every last thread on this forum I could find including reddit.

Tried MiniTool Partition Wizard, Tried guiformat, tried Hard Disk Low Level Format, Tried all different size partitions in both FAT32 and NTFS. Made sure I was using MBR, and lastly, cloned a working flash drive to the external HDD and still nothing.

Anyone have any other ideas for us to try because I am losing my mind.
