PS2 FMCB/FHDB v1.9 series release thread

I was being stupid, now I see where the binaries are :hopelessness:

Installed FreeHdboot on an old IDE drive successfully and with hdldump it should be no problem getting the images over to the ps2 :victorious:

Of course, for that purpose was hdldump written. ;]

Binaries are under releases section on GitHub of each repository (if author attached them of course; for both mentioned they are). And if You not trusting binaries, You can always do the job from live session. :P

So far my FHDB is running fine, adding games over the network works. I noticed, that sometimes the PS2 won't boot into FHDB, but goes to the normal OSD instead. I can't tell what triggers this, but rebooting once or twice helps.

What might be causing this? I'm still using an IDE drive, maybe it's just too slow and "skips a beat" sometimes during boot?

Drive was formatted with HddManager, has one extra +OPL partition and FHDB installed from USB drive (installation from memory card would not start, launching the .elf file was without effect).
