Pretty much. It's going to be more reliable than sourcing from ebay or ali. There was one ebay seller that had NOS, and he was restocking every 2 to 6 weeks, but he hasn't had stock now for 3 or 4 months. At last we heard from him he said he didn't think there'd be any more.
So yeah, pull from donors. That's were we are now. The good ole days are over and now we enter into the mire that is pulling, testing, and hoping for the best.

When you are testing the Ω readings are you doing so with the RSX off the board at the respective test points?
This question was directed for Pelko as I was attempting to help him out with diagnosing his Ω readings, as he had questioned it above. However what you have mentioned is interesting, so these RSX's that measured fine before soldering them to the board did @Computer Booter take any Ω's readings again when the RSX's were de soldered, were the readings still the same? I'm thinking if there had been any damaged incurred during the soldering process.
