Hello, I've made two frankenstein mod on two ps3 fat CECHC, but both of them freeze after few hours with Gran Turismo 6 demo, I suspect that the problem is with the temperature profile that I use for leaded solder so there are some cold joints. As bga machine I have a Honton HT-R392 and I use this leaded profile:
Upper hot air:
0.50 145 45
3.00 165 35
3.00 185 25
2.00 225 25
3.10 120 5
Bottom hot air:
0.50 155 25
3.00 175 35
3.00 195 25
2.00 230 25
3.10 120 5
Time above 183°C is about 60-90 seconds and it reached a peak temp of 206°C.
I used flux amtech nc-559 for soldering.
I want to specify also that for the voltage mod I used the unofficial method that works only on 40 nm GPUs, not the one with the BD3504 that Sony used, can this be the issue?
Please help me, thanks in advance.
