FunTuna (Free McBoot for Fortuna)

PS2 FunTuna (Free McBoot for Fortuna) v1 (r3)

Look at the POPStarter-Wiki or the OPL-Tutorials!
I did and they are using the OPL daily builds version which shows the PS1 tab

Is there maybe a OPL for PS1 games that I can add in Funtuna?

You continue to ignore what I write.
DO NOT MULTIPOST!
Next warning! You continue to work towards a permanent ban.

Oh and you reported me for "hatespeech" again, for pointing out that YOU made something wrong?
You are a "sore loser" and before you report this post as well, google the definition of the term, because you factually match it perfectly and hence you'd expose yourself if you would report this post for "hatespeech" as well.

The Admin already told you to grow up.
You seriously don't understand how a board-forum works.

That is utter nonsense! It never was, doesn't currently and never will link to the "OPL DB" Fork!

This and only this is the official POPStarter-documentation:
https://bitbucket.org/ShaolinAssassin/popstarter-documentation-stuff/wiki/Home

version which shows the PS1 tab
This bugged thing is not needed!

There is no "OPL for PS1 games"... OPL only starts PS2-ISOs and PS2-Apps.

Hello there. I create memory cards from opl so that the save files of the games do not break the funtuna, but the next day when I try to open the game, the funtuna is broken. What is the solution to this? I read something about timestamp but didn't understand.

The timestamp for the icon of Fortuna, FunTuna, etc. needs to be "in the future" so that it is the first icon.

If you use the normal time (now), your new saves should never be newer than the Exploit and hence it should continue working.
...and since you do not even write to the MC when using OPL's VMCs it should not happen at all!

Follow the install instructions and use the correct uLE (WorkingULE) to paste the PSU file. Your wLE probably did not set-up the timestamp correctly.
Also, if you edited something inside mc0:/BOOT/ be sure to set the timestamp again by going to the FMCB Configurator and selecting "Save CNF to MC0"

Also, if the game is in fact Metal Gear Solid 3, it will break the saves on your memory card. That specific VMC emulation problem is related to OPL, not FunTuna.

I have notice that at least the highest date in my SCPH-77004 is:
Date-PS2.png

31/12/2099 15:59:59.

@HWNJ you set a little bit higher date (31/12/2099 23:59:59).
Did you checked this date on a real hardware (PS2)?

I'm not sure what "opposite poles" means when you compare a timestamp of files to a timestamp of a folder...
But it is good to know that it is fine\normal.

Oposite poles (in this case a timestamp is the max, the other is the minimum) (just a physics joke)
The files timestamps does not affects the exploit at all, so no need to be afraid of anything...

When I set scrollings options, save to mc0 and the settings cannot take effect,Do I need to set a timestamp, all my operations are set from FMCB_CFG

Which settings do not take effect?
The timestamp should be edited once hitting Save CNF to MC0.

top delimiter After setting, saving cannot take effect
Delimiters are hard coded. They won't change on FunTuna v1. I forgot to remove the hard coded ones before the release. It was supposed to be hard coded just for the BETA version. Anyway... the next revision will not have them hard coded.

I understand funtuna is not for first generation ps2 consoles, but like i said in another post i tested it on phats and even did game saves on the memory card, afaik its still working great.

The only Phat console where FunTuna works are SCPH-500XX with ROMVER 1.90.
If it were 1.70 or lower your MC will be corrupted by now...

Anyway, in future versions it will work on 1.10 and newer

thank you thank you so much for this information,This i did not know ,So i have been doing test with scph 500xx models,Lucky me,.You my friend is a life saver.I sell ps2 consoles so this is a god send.I looked for information on this and never did find what models phats.Funtuna is a great project.Great stuff man great stuff.

Tell me will there be ever a future release where funtuna will be able to work with any ps2 out there.IS there limitations that is hinder this

There will be an update and "more". :)
It is also going to work with PS2s with older BOOT-ROM-Versions and include compatibility with all FAT "ExpansionBay-Model" PS2s!

All those MCs which don't work with a signed FMCB install can work with this soon on almost all PS2s and it also works on DTL-Models!
