PS3 Game port request

I know N64 will most likely never see the light of day, but was wondering if port request to the PS3 as pkg would be requestable? I have seen a Mario64 port is why I ask. All I personally request atm is Killer Instinct (Arcade version), Killer Instinct 2 (Arcade) / Killer Instinct Gold (N64). If doable these would be awesome since ports are the next best thing. Thank you.

Not sure if those have been decompiled. Some, if not all, are on the series x though, since Microsoft now owns rare. I own them myself. I can't recall if they're free with xbone version of killer instinct or not, but I do agree that they're one of the most fun fighting games. I actually remember playing them at the arcade.

What happened to Emu_kidid's Not64 / Mupen64 port for the PS3? isn't it a part of Mame or RetroArch?
I tried that, but it's not working correctly (glitchy) is why I ask of ports/something better. If I knew how/had abilities to port I would. As for part of retro arch...I don't think Its available for PS3 version from what I checked/read up. Mame, I can never get Mame files for KI or Ki2 to work on PS3(arcade versions with zip/chd).

Rene Rebe would be the best guy to ask, he's always making tweaks to streamlined Linux builds & optimising, I think he was working on ps1light & trying to bring gpu acceleration to ps3 homebrew.

Well as for Mame (Mame 2003 - retro arch) I got them to work, but they are super slow. The zip- needs to go onto folder with same name as zip- along with the folder with same file name as zip containing working CHD for Mame 2003. Odd but it works.

Lots of missing ports left yet for coders to tackle on PS3. With all the documentation, samples and tools I'm surprised that more people haven't flooded the wide open nature of the ps3 with ports.

Guess she's still to tough for most basic ports and coders. I'm sure there's many other relevant reasons as well.

Maybe it's time to hype the ps3 scene again to draw in some new "coders".

I would love to see a new wave of interest and unique or not projects start again.
