PS3 Get game audio sound from Headset Bluetooth & USB (not only in chat)

Just installed and works fine with my cheap Sades SA-901 (Wolfang). They say 7.1 but i don't think they are. Anyhow sound is good!
Btw i am on CFW 4.84 Rebug and not 4.82...
My memory is failing me some times, must be getting old :p

It works for 4.82/4.84/4.85 :)
 
I know, i read it before installing it. As i am new to this scene and got my first PS3 CFW about 2 months ago i know to do my research and not install crap i see around. I need to be 100% sure it will work.
I learned that the hard way back in the day when we were "exploiting" PSPs with a modded battery..

Thank you so much ! It works on 4.84 HEN 3.0 !!
Paired PS3 with JBL Tune 500BT but the sound quality in game is really low and there is a slight lag also.

  3. Boot your PS3 and click on ★ Enable HEN
  4. Install the PKG
  5. Connect your USB/Bluetooth headset to PS3
  6. Go to Accessory Settings in Settings Column
  7. Scroll Down till you See Audio Device Settings
  8. Choose Your Device
  9. Start your Game and you will hear sound from your HeadSet and Have fun :)
  • Audio of XMB will still output to TV but when you enter the game you will get sound to headset
    • Audio will output to Bluetooth/USB HeadSet only when HEN is Enabled
    • If you unplug your HeadSet from USB or Power it Off(Wireless HeadSet) PS3 will output back from TV

i wait for Jack to USB adapter but it comes to my mind another thing is that i have my Blue Yeti Micro Phone that have USB i plug to PS3 then plug my Headset to BlueYeti's Jack port and it work

Game Tested : Splinter Cell Blacklist audio from Headset :)

Thanks for the solution. It worked on my bluetooth headset. But I have the cheap sound quality problem as it was previously commented. I tried it with usb and it worked fine. I want to share my findings on my wireless experiments to help the development. I think the problem is ps3 forces microphone usage in audio device setting if bt device has a microphone . This causes bt device to switch audio profile from A2DP (High-quality audio profile) to HFP (Hands-Free, low quality plus microphone). While switching to HFP enables to use of mic in game comes with the disadvantage of low audio quality. Maybe forcing ps3 to use A2DP profile (or disabling microphone) while selecting the bt headsets with a built-in microphone may provide better audio quality.
