PS3 God of War Collection native widescreen... possible?

I saw this video
and yes, I know it is RPCS3...

And since there is a true widescreen hack for the PS2 versions of GoW and GoW II
http://ps2wide.net/g.html#SCUS-97399
I wondered if it is possible to make the PS3 version with true widescreen, not that original cropped 4:3...

Because the 16:9 mode on the PS2 has less visible area than 4:3 and that 16:9 is the same used in the PS3 versions. There are proper 16:9 patches for both GoW and GoW II on the PS2, and my main question is there a possibility implementing them on the PS3 versions.

The biggest fun I have is that everybody hates the vert- method (understandable from the technical point of view), because there is a switch in the menu allowing you to see the obvious difference on the fly. I wonder if you have noticed it yourself during the play through, before watching the video. I mean, this game is fun to play regardless of the widescreen method applied. Any change of field of view needs a game to be reverse engineered, applying the patches from PS2 will not work, because the PS3 version is completely different.

I understand you but I already played them on the PS2 with proper 16:9... Now I was thinking of replaying them on the PS3 and that's why I opened this thread, but yes I think that is not going to be an easy task.
Also I played GTA III on the PS4 and it was annoying how I can see only half or less of any vehicle because of the vert- method.

and my main question is there a possibility implementing them on the PS3 versions.

Would this be possible to do for the US version? Tried to do it myself but can't seem to figure it out.

Figured it out. Maybe somebody will found it useful
