4.86 does not exist for the ps3, you must be on 4.84 or below

Go to front page of this site, 4.84.2 HFW, then go through the process for HAN
as a 4k unit, you CANNOT install CFW, only HAN

FYI: HAN does NOT support multiman, irisman, managunz, webman, sman, cobra, mamba, psnpatch, or other homebrew...this is exclusive to CFW (to which your unit is NOT capable)

This is a comprehensive guide written by the PS3Xploit team for the express purpose of helping people install HAN.

It has no agenda, unlike the swathes of YouTube channels and their owners, who are frankly more interested in getting views and building their channel, than providing a detailed and thorough tutorial on how to use and install. Such videos are very often synonymous with clickbait, glossing over details and generally a shoddy approach; they favour views and likes/subscribes at the expense of a quality tutorial.

Of course, I'm not speaking of every single case so I mean no disrespect to those who produce quality content on YT (you know who you are :)), but there are far too many of these channels floating around out there, churning out these quite frankly trashy videos, the uploader caring more about growing their channel than genuinely helping others.

Hello people...
I have a serious problem.
I did write the hex file, flash_4.84_hex without first checking the minimum-version-checker.
And now I can not repair the copy of nor, because sinsizes dumpstatistic can not repair the copy because the patch ROS_OFW_4.82, does not work with the version 4.84 HFW that I installed.
Please friends someone with this brick on ps3, any solution?

Hey I'm trying to download all call duty dlc but I can't figure out how my PS3 is not jailbreak and it's 4.48 and does not have a package installer plz help
 
Hi i have a ps3 40gb on cfw 4.84 (hfw) can i upgrade my hdd to 500gb and then just reinstall rebug 4.84.2 rex with no problems
