WebKit replacer? What's that? Are you referring to HFW? Both are already available on 4.91.
There's absolutely no way of adding QA flagging to later models, i.e., models that don't support full CFW. Enabling the QA flag requires hypervisor level access and that's only possible with full CFW. Unfortunately in those later models system updates are a one way street.
 
@NiQ the webkit replacer was something new mentioned by @bguerville which is supposed to replace HFW I've seen it on a Twitter post
Also png belongs to aldostools not me so I wasn't the one who screenshotted it.

Hello. I'm new to PS3 modding and I will be trying to install CFW for the first time. I've got a fat CECHP01 PS3 running OFW 4.83 and a min ver of 2.45. I plan to install CFW 4.89.3 Evilnat Cobra 8.4 on it as a guide said so I can use ManaGunZ. I've researched on several sites, watched videos, searched this forum, and read this thread but I haven't found an answer to my question yet:
Does the OFW version have to match the CFW version when you upgrade or is the OFW version irrelevant and you can update to any CFW version (such as 4.91.2 Evilnat Cobra 8.5)?

It doesn't have to match, it can be equal or higher than your current OFW - but it cannot be lower. If you want to downgrade your firmware you have to first install CFW >= 4.83 and downgrade later.
Also there's no point installing 4.89 at this point. The only OFW changes between 4.89 and 4.91 are updated Blu-Ray keys, and in the world of CFW, Evilnat has added many new and useful features since then. Install Evilnat 4.91.2. You can downgrade later if you run into any issues.

CFW follows the same rules as OFW. If your console is already jailbroken (a.k.a. CFW already installed), you can install any CFW with the same version or above as your current FW.

I.e. current CFW 4.83 -> you can install CFW 4.84 up to 4.91.

Is it possible to use ManaGunZ on Evilnat 4.91 or do I need to use another homebrew for archiving ISOs?
I was confused as I had been following Redump's PS3 Dumping Guide on how to create ISOs from discs I own and that guide said to install Evilnat 4.89 since ManaGunZ had not been updated to work on 4.91 yet.

Also, regarding webMAN MOD - the pkg is actually just an installer. When you run it, it installs webMAN MOD as an XMB plugin. Is webMAN MOD being loaded when you restart?

I found the problem

BD is not working back then because the console I got is floaded back so bd is got bad

when I installed a noBD cfw it worked perfectly

So my ps3 slim is on CFW 3.55 SC36 HERMES and want to upgrade to higher CFW like Ferrox PS3 Custom Firmware 4.81 COBRA 7.52 v1.03
How to do it .
And also about multiman i have old version and downloaded new one ,should i install the new multiman pkg from xmb
Hope somebody will have the time to answer

The newest multiMAN might have issues below 4.85.

If you're already on CFW, you don't need to jailbreak your PS3 again. You can install CFW with same version or higher directly from XMB or recovery menu.

About multiMAN, it's recommended to install the latest version which adds support for all CFW available.

I recommend that use multiMAN MOD instead of the official release.

I don't know about the playstation store, as a lot has been removed, even though it's still active, but that game is on the switch. I should know as I've bought it, and there's a bundle iirc offered with it.
 
I need help. I've never used this site before so idk how to post pictures. I installed HEN and Multiman+Mod 3 days ago and had just enough room for one game. Been playing that game.

Fast forward to today when I tried to transfer over to a larger flash drive. I deleted everything off of the old one and put Webman and prep iso on the fat32 drive and plugged it back into my PS3. It didn't start right and showed 2 screens at once and really small ones at that. After trying to install webman it just froze and wouldn't turn off.

Then it wouldn't turn back on. When it finally did, it showed a blue and green screen and nothing else. After 6 attempts at restarting it either does one of those 2 things or doesn't turn on at all anymore and I don't know what to do.

It's a 12gb super slim ps3
