yes they dont boot in retail ps2s. hopefully we get a new tool to master patch isosFDVDB and ESR patches are incompatible (both using fake DVD-Video in UDF but in a way which making it not possible to coexist, at least as I thinking it works ^^).
I'm not sure but Master Disc patch makes disc not bootable on retail PS2 (but I need to confirm that).
modchip will boot themWhat I have in mind: they don't boot not only on not hacked by any way retail PS2 (this should be obvious but just in case I pointing that ^^) but also not on i.e modchiped or via ESR (if ESR Patch was applied on top of Mater Disc patch). At least that what I hear, not tested myself as my ODD is dirty/dead.

anyone that as used freedvdboot i keep getting 1 of 3 problems. 1 disc read error 2. black screen when it shows up 3. loading disc for what seems like forever i am using a phat 3000001 ps2
