yes some games like black ops and others check for cfw syscalls. you can disable them using webman. if the game detects cfw syscalls it can ban you

Habib can you help me with this question?

I just use han to install hen offline, because I use it as a first step.

Have any way to install hen without internet? any that don't need han?

Thanks to @lmn7 the Han Enabler seems to be working well now! He gave me an offline script to test. I've copied and pasted the code into a html file available below. Just remove the .txt extension so it is a .html.

I'm not able to fully test because i don't have any han pkgs prepared so please give feedback!

NOTE: This version does not allow HAN pkg installation. It allows debug pkg installation and HAN licensed games to run, this was intentional because there is no point in resigning pkgs

file removed because han has been updated. just redownload if you use offline enabler. no need to reinstall han

use a webserver to load the page on ps3 browser. it will enable han.

if you have android, you can use kws webserver. if you have windows you can use miniweb. connect to same network and enter you phone/pc ip address in ps3 browser. kws will tell you ip and port number to enter if you use it.
 
@JohnCono can you test the file above? run a game or two. (i dont have any) the toolbox shouldnt work for the most part so dont bother with it.
 
if we can get confirmation that everthing works correctly maybe the devs will look at update. or i may be able to get a simpler method working later today (its bedtime now).

i tried a method that uses a bookmark in the browser (press select in browser) earlier but i made a mistake. i will try again later and post if i get it working.

Ok thanks, i don't wanna use cfw at all, never used and i really don't feel comfortable with it, there is a chance for get an update on HAN 4.86? just the basics: the installer, act/idps dumper and the enabler.

There is a offline method in the HEN thread but you need miniweb i guess, just get miniweb and follow the instructions in the HEN thread.

best way to get rid of hen is to install hfw. if you reinstall han...i had trouble with the online installer (my web was slow so maybe was that) but i used the offline from han zip.
 
I have the same problem as Diego. Apparently we're going to have to settle for the no-han games. But thanks for what you guys have provided us so far. As I have purchased games on my account and I am a trophy hunter, I also cannot risk installing HEN. I came to HAN because psn is no longer "caring" for ps3 users so much that the prices of games on psn have increased a lot...

i readed that to get rid of HEN you must format the entire console
 
@JohnCono if i remember correctly debug pkgs are used if you take a disc, rip it, then cfw2ofw convert to folder and finally folder to pkg. these do not need resigning. also dont need to resign offical pkgs...like game updates and dlc. so if you wanted to reinstall and reactivate games you bought on psn without redownloading again then those would work too. i know i have made a pkg with the raf instead of using act/raf copier but that would not work with this method i believe.
 
those two examples (disc backup and psn purchase backup) are the only uses for han i can think of (its been a long time since i used han). neither requires resigning so han is still usable for those purposes.
