Fix in attachement. Resign it and install it over, it will replace the malformed files.

EDIT : deleted. It's now within toolbox resources.

@DeViL303 : when you have time, you can replace the old files with these new ones. ;)

How Do I Make A Tread On Here Bro.

See attachement. :)

@DeViL303 Can i update han toolbox v0.5 with last toolbox updater

should I remove HAN Toolbox 0.4, and proceed with this instruction.. or it can be done by direct update from 0.4?

Oh, you downgraded to v0.4 ? Then :
1. Update to v0.5 from v0.4 ;
2. Download Toolbox Resources again from v0.5 ;
3. Install the fix (resign it before) (copy it to USB, then install it - no download from PS3).

New resources pkg uploaded.

@aldostools: would you mind changing the toolbox resource pkg on brewology. There was an issue with the demo downloader that has been sorted now. Thanks.

Done ;) http://store.brewology.com/ahomebrew.php?brewid=314

BTW @bguerville @esc0rtd3w It would be nice if the xml in the "support files" include a direct link to download/update HAN Toolbox.
It could be an icon included in category_network.xml. I think it would help to reduce the steps of the initial setup.

Good idea.

As its so small, another option would be to have the small Toolbox pkg included in the HAN support files, have it install to dev_hdd0/packages , or even a folder on flash like Rebug Toolbox so it survives a format, then it is ready to go after running HAN installer.

Related: I noticed dev_flash/rebug/packages is still checked in the HAN package manager system storage section. I suppose there is not much need of any "system storage" section on HAN, as there is no way to put pkgs on hdd (except HAN injection/forceinstallto)

Hmmm I think you're confusing that part with PUP installer. If I understand it correctly, HAN installer can copy files to any location specified in the javascript. So it should be feasible to copy the XML directly to /dev_hdd0/game/HANTOOLBX/USRDIR/han_toolbox_xmb.xml.

Yes that is an option too, although there are a lot of icons.

No I wasn't talking about pup installer, I just mean that there is no need for any system storage option in package manager the way things are now, but yeah users could use HAN installer to put packages on HDD so I suppose its worth leaving in. I thought I read that there was/is a filesize limit with HAN installer, like 5MB per file, but I could be remembering wrong.

Has anyone ever thought about making a ps3xport backup of HAN TOOLBOX and installing HAN would be so much easier than from the original site.
HAN support files and HAN toolbox are 2 very different things.

Han support files aka HAN installer, adds files to dev_flash.

HAN Toolbox only adds files to dev_hdd0/game/

If you use the system backup utility it will only backup some of the HDD, so the only thing it would save you having to do is install the Toolbox pkg, you would still need to run HAN installer.

I was thinking in just a simple version of han_toolbox_xmb.xml that would use the icons currently available in the rco's (e.g standard folder icons). It would add only a single file of ~50KB to the "support files" and the users would have immediately the main features available in the XMB without install additional pkg.

If the user want the nice icons and the rest of the resources (demos, themes, backgrounds, etc.), they could update to the "full" edition ;)

yeah that option actually works fine lol :)

EDIT: i just noticed the "rebug" in path
the rebug path probably don't need to be there, but the hdd0/packages works fine

but yeah no "easy way" to get packages on HDD, for testing, i just used an in-house tool to do it, for copying a package to HDD...could release it i guess later haha

yeah we can probably include that in zip or the small pkg

But that would mean that the user has to update the han support files each time Toolbox is updated... Can I suggest just adding Toolbox main options (Enabler, Installer, ACT/IDPS dumper, support for PKG linker - maybe more...) - basically a kind of "Light" Toolbox version ?
