Hello PSX Scene. Im a newbie in this forum and also have HAN in my super slim since two months ago. I wont bother you with details

So I made a backup for my Star Wars Battlefront 2 disc to make a ps2 classic pkg but I know for a fact the game is incompatible as hell. So you need a config file to make ir work.

The thing is, how the flying monkeys do you use those config files? I read aldostool lets you do it but Im just so confused by the process lol. And its kind of ridiculous since Ive learned how to make ps2/psx pkgs a while ago.

if you can help a little will be much appreciated

I can help with this, I went through a similar issue back when I was learning myself.

The PS2 games run on an emulator, and compatibility isn't as good as they would be on an actual PS2.
When you use "ps2classics_GUI_2.1" (Make sure you are using this version), it will ask if you would like to use a CONFIG FILE.
Select BROWSE and it should take you to the folder inside ps2classics that contains the CONFIG files.
Keep in mind that SOME GAMES WILL REQUIRE DIFFERENT CONFIG FILES either provided for the official emulator, or some made CUSTOM.

It will prompt you to select a config file right before you select MAKE PKG.
Check the PS2 Compatibility LIST to see if a game requires a CONFIG FILE, and also which kind.

Hope this helps!
