PS3 Help with evilnat (4.88) PS2 classics

Hey guys, pretty new to the scene but I've worked my way around a hen console with ease. In struggling with getting PS2 classics to run, I've watched Mr Mario's guide and successfully installed the latest evilnat/cobra firmware. I then continued to be on my merry way but I've only managed to get PS3 games up n running.
I think I'm missing a step with activation/deactivation using reactpsn or something?? (* I've purchased this console on eBay, therefore I'm not the primary account holder!?) All help is appreciated, thanks community.

Easiest way is you setup a PSN account and activate the system by using the XMB. I have read Apollo Save Tool can do this but never used it. Just make an account on your PC then login on the PS3. Ensure you disable syscalls then activate and you are done.

I managed to log into my old PSN account and the device activation didn't work? hen is sooo much easier XD =(

Ok if you are activated did you install the RAP file for the PS2 Launcher? It will throw that error if you haven't. Feel free to drop me a PM and I will gladly help bud.

Shit, I'm gonna have to downgrade my title to complete noob cos I can't even pm you?
I didn't do anything with a rap file, just checked the md5 for when I installed evilnat and it was all successful....
See if you can pm me somehow just to clarify it all with me and so I stop embarrassing myself publicly on a whiteboard
