HEN 2.1.1 best version ever released

Hi guys. Will you agree with me? HEN 2.1.1 was the best version ever released so far. While I used it I did not have any problems with the startup, there was no black screen and truncation of the console when we use hombrews either with Webman mod or with Irisman. When the new update came up, the problems started. Any honor to the developers, if it was not them we did not even have what we have until now. My question is whether you will agree with me that 2.1.1 was the best version, and whether it will be possible for the newer versions to return things that were in 2.1.1 because when I formated my HD and install it again OFW 4.84 and HFW 4.84.2 and go back to HEN 2.1.1 things are already recorded in the flash memory so it's in vain. I am saying this because it has already been tried. Sorry for my english, some words are google translated :)
 
Well, i use the version 2.2.2 in PS3 v4.84 3001a and work 100%.

Multiman Hen 4.82 work
Irisman 4.84.5 work
webamn mod 1.47.23 work
I use external usb 3.5 ntfs 100% work

I use Hen from 1.0.0 , the problem in my case if have black screen or lag in the ps3, the 100% solve reinstall hen with pendrive with last version hen and homebrew.pkg
 
I have SS 4004c with HFW 4.84, my first installed HEN was v2.1.0 and the only issue was the HEN activations, it was like 50 sec more/less to activate. When I update on v2.1.1 that issue was no longer, I can activate HEN for 5 sec. WEBMAN MOD and Irisman have worked perfectly with no black screen and console freezing. Then I update HEN on v 2.2.1 and now when I try to load my PSX iso game with Irisman directly from USB my console freez and there is black sreen. 2 of 5 attempts are failure when I try to activate HEN

Due to the game compatibility being worked on between 2.1.2~2.2.0, it became unstable for HEN_init process as well as blackscreen issue. We are currently on 2.3.0 and it seems a lot better than 2.2.0 and I strongly disagree with your statement saying 2.1.1 is the best because it has an issue that does not affect you at the moment.

Here's the reasons why people don't like 2.2.0 I gathered so far.

1. Blackscreeen issues when webMAN MOD's used
2. "HAN toolbox + piracy store" support disabled by default
3. intermittent freezing on HEN_init

I don't agree with you, 2.0.0 was the best, fastest and easiest. No error and everything working 100%!
 
Hi Joonie, I started the thread because I am reading the comments of many users, 2/3 are satisfied till the v2.1.1. I did not say that the rest versions are nit good, but mine opinion sI that much more stable version was till version 2.1.1. Thanks for the answer, I agree with you, for the 1st and 3rd item and I say the same, and the second one does not occupy me, because I dont use pirated game. Thanks for the reply.
 
i like booth version. one thing that i hate on 2.2.2 is the startup hen logo. how can i change it back to standart ps3 logo.

Install the stock theme provided in HFW Tools. (Don't forget to first update themes and then apply them)
If you want any other logo, you just need to install any coldboot you like
