Hey, if anyone else has this issue, I figured out that if you have even a controller plugged in to charge, the init of hen sometimes won't work. If you only have a wired controller then click on start hen, and disconnect your controller immediately and reconnect it after it enables.

It might be. I have a variety of controllers, one of them that has a dongle I've discovered causes problems when initializing HEN. So I just don't plug in the dongle to any of the ports when enabling it and that seems to be a decent fix. I also had a problem installing HFW from the XMB because of a wired controller I had plugged in. Kept throwing me an error code I didn't quite understand. Solved it by unplugging that controller and using a BT one (cheap "P3" one like the guy pictured here, except mine is wireless.)
