hen toolbox v1.0 cause enabling hen freeze after xmb patch hfw 4.85.1

hello, i had a problem, after i install the .pkg, and try to apply it to xmb patch, every time i want to enable hen, it freezes at the enabling hen...

and i noted the usual animation is gone and replaced with a plain text

so annoying , i must reinstall ofw and then hfw again, and install all exploit again from beginning

btw im on hfw 4.85.1, and never experiencing this issue before, in 4.84.2

I don't think HEN toolbox has been updated for a while so it won't work on 4.85

Yup it hasn't been updated for 4.85.1 HFW and not sure if @DeViL303 is going to update it. There is also no way to go back to 4.84.2 HFW so you gotta make do for now. I tagged him so maybe he will come chime in.

I've got a 'Disabled' HEN Toolbox installed. Haven't touched it because I don't want to end up in this situation myself.

I'd suggest reinstalling HFW 4.85.1 and installing new HEN 2.3.2. HEN Toolbox still won't work, but your PS3 can still be used.

1. Go to ps3xploit website
2. PS3 HEN > your firmware HEN > Enable HAN ReWrite Flash
3. Turn off your browser then go back to ps3xploit
4. PS3 HEN > HEN Installer (alternate)
5. Follow instructions on screen
6. Enjoy

I faced the same problem yesterday, as my hen toolbox got enabled, i was surprised but when i restarted my ps3 today, it froze.i tried to enable many times but didn't work.I have successfully installed hen 3.0.1 on my HFW 4.86.1 again.Now it shows hen toolbox disabled.
Should i patch it to the xmb or what do you'll say???

Get the pkg, install it like you would any other pkg with HEN Enabled, either via FAT32 usb stick or by FTPing the pkg to dev_hdd0/packages/. Then you can enable HEN toolbox again from the XMB.

you cant really, it changes too much, reinstall HFW then reinstall HEN. Then delete the game data.

I have latest hen version and hfw 4.88, i installed hen toolbox and it work successfuly, i treid download netflix using hen toolbox but i got issue so i treid update hen toolbox and update hen version, after that i reboot my ps3 and after that i used enable hen button and enable hen just freeze, i rebooted my ps3 and enabled hen but it's freeze to, what can i do now?

I recommend you use Ultimate Toolbox now. It based on HEN Toolbox but has more stuff added.

After installing it you need to go into Firmware Settings > HEN > and add your HEN enabler back to the XMB.
