HEN Toolbox

PS3 HEN Toolbox v1.00

When you press SELECT+O in webMAN MOD, it unmounts the current game and redirects /app_home to /dev_hdd0/packages
This allows to use the Install All Packages (the option that shows when you press :but tri: on Standard Package Location)

Another option is to use the combo SELECT+O+R2 to install all files from /dev_hdd0/packages and delete them automatically.

A third option is to use the web command /remap.ps3 to redirect *any* path that is accessible by the file system (hdd0, hdd1, usb, sd, ms, cf, flash) to /app_home then use the option Install All Packages. e.g. /remap.ps3/app_home&to=/dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_res

If you mount /net0/PKG as /dev_bdvd you can install all packages on a remote server.

Awesome! Many thanks!

I wonder, does the package manager includes the option to batch install (Install all)? The HEN Package Manager already include it but ONLY for packages in the USB root folder, not in the Packages inside the USB, nor the PS3 HDD.
This has the xml modded to add that option to all locations. I think more patches are required though. I dont have my ps3 to test right now.

@DeViL303

brilliant piece of programming for our HEN enabled PS3.

Thanks

I had never installed HAN..

HEN 2.2.2/HEN toolbox/HEN homebrew store/WEBman & Multiman, perfect mix so far :-)

What exactly are you doing to install it? There is not much it can be . Maybe do a file system check on ps3.
  • Corrupt download
  • storage media issue
  • HEN not enabling properly
I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the download or the storage media.

I think my HEN installation has problems, I should do a clean install.

Thanks! You are amazing! :D!!!!

It won't work by default (says "No installable package was found") because it seeks for the PKGs in usb0/root.

However, if we follow aldostools advice and press SELECT+O while inside the webMAN Games menu in the XMB, and then head for HEN Toolbox, it will work because of the explanation he provided earlier.

Now I wonder if we may be able to change the usb0/exdata default patch for raps installation to the hdd0/exdata or just another patch.

You know that raps can be activated from dev_hdd0/exdata already?

As Itroublve Hacker commented, PS3HEN already supports the raps from /dev_hdd0/exdata

You can also redirect any path to any other in the file system using the web command /remap.ps3 in webMAN MOD

e.g. http://localhost/remap.ps3/dev_usb000/exdata&to=/dev_hdd0/any_path

note: /net* or /dev_ntfs* are not supported (because these are virtual paths). They are supported if they are mounted as /dev_bdvd

I have a suggestion for the hen toolbox, if it can be xD
the thing is to see the ip as with the swap_files_xmb_plugin but for the hen ...

removing conected from: 0.0.0.0 and hostname:
leaving only IP addres:
like this ...

It also adds the option of screenshot in the same xmb not to be taking pictures with my cell phone xD

The thing you want to remove requires editing in SPRX, I think or it could be RCO!
