Ok cool, will be easier than reinstalling the whole FW.

1. Grab the file* I uploaded here, unzip it and place it on a USB stick ;
2. Using PS3 Web Broswer, go to http://**ps3xploit.com >Domain no L...fw/flash_xml_replacer/flash_xml_replacer.html and select category_game.xml ;
3. Reinstall HEN Toolbox.

* nothing magic here, it's just category_game.xml for HEN Pkg.

Noticed a weird bug when setting the Game order to by name or by time caused most PSN titles to spit out an error on boot, an XMB refresh seemed to fix the issue. Not sure how it's related but... hope that helps.

I install hen toolbox on my 4.8.5 HEN. I just read the forum saying it only works on 4.8.4. Everytime I enable hen im stuck in the HEN Enabler screen.

I even reinstall the HEN 4.8.5 and the hen toolbox still show up on my ps3 but this time i didnt enable it. I ran HEN enabler and I am still freezing at the HEN enabler screen.

Replace the category_game.xml with the one attached. This should work and is tested.
To replace do reinstall HEN and then install HEN Toolbox and after replace using a file manager. Done, restart, test. Let me know if this works.

No. It might work if you follow the instructions in the post above yours. I have not tried it.

I tested this with HFW 4.85.1+HEN 2.3.2. It worked, with some advice from DeViL303.

I applied 'flash patches' from HEN Toolbox 'Disabled' state. This breaks HEN, but was able to use this to enable on next reboot

Then I copied modified 44kb xml from linked post, replacing 34kb one HEN Toolbox patch put (before i did any of this was a 42kb xml)

Reboot again. HEN Enable works regular. HEN Toolbox also works

It is needed to apply the patch anyway, as it does more than just copy the game xml, So the way you did it is correct.
