Can anyone help when I put my usb in my ps3 superslim and I go to system update via storage media its says "no applicable update data was found" my flash is 32fat my ps3 is 4.90 idk what to do
 
Hey , I have an PS3 superslim running on version 4.90 and have been trying to install the HEN version for a while now and whenever i try to install it through the USB it shows no available data to be installed.

I have tried everything and still there is no response.

Hope to hear some answers from the community.

try recovery mode
 
I've recently bought a superslim console that has some problems with the wireless part.
Sometimes the controller has difficulties to connect after pulling out the usb cable. Sometimes it doesn't connect at all. Whet it does, it works ok even from large distance.
The bigger problem is the wifi though. The console sometimes completely freezes if I click on the internet connection menu intem.
I have to force shut down.
Other times it sees no hotspots at all. Once it did, than froze.
I managed to set up a wired lan connection, and using bguerville's fantastic PS3 Toolset, I was able to dump the firmware safely.
I would like to install HEN on this console, but first it needs the 4.90.1 HFW installed twice.
If the console is set up for a wired connection and using an usb cable for the controller, does the console use/access the wireless module in any way? Am I risking a freeze during the HFW installation?
Otherwise I did not experience any freezes during normal use, or gameplay.
btw. 4.84 OFW is the currently installed fw.

Sorry to ask, but does anybody have the MD5 file I have the file folder with the hash in the name but not the file itself and I try just copy and pasting it but my PS3 won't load it anybody you know how to fix that, I have a PS3 slim Is that an issue?

You dont need one and one does not exist. the folder name is the md5 value of the pup

Hello, I have a problem, I want to install HFW 4.90.1 but the XMB doesn't work, and I've already tried safe mode with no more success, I've already tried changing the USB disk. I'm on an ultra-slim PS3: CECH - 40XX (I don't know anything about it, so to migrate from 4.89.1 to 4.90 I uninstalled the whole HEN and then reinstalled it).

Iupdated my console to 4.90 OFW.
Then I installer 4.90.1 Hfw in recovery mode.

When I try to open ps3xploit page in ps3 Browser, it says : "the page cannot be displayed"
I'm connected with my wlan router...

What I did was

-download OFW 4.90, install in recovery mode
-download Hfw 4.90.1, install in recovery mode.

-insta hen with ps3xploit, using the remote play option
