PS3 HFW tools bug?

Hello, I have this bug for quite some time but I've never bothered to report for some unknown reason. In the maintenance folder inside HFW tools every option I click doesn't show a notification saying it did the function. For example when I click on the patch BT audio button I don't get a notification saying it did it, same for clearing browser history/cache as another example. What can I do to fix this?

Setup if it helps: PS3 Ss 4.90 HFW, HEN 3.2.2, latest web man mod, 1TB HDD
 
many things can be fixed by hfw/hen reinstall. in this case, reinstalling hen only may be enough to fix it.

The HFW tools themes are broken. Just try to install a update file so that the HFW tools settings get reseted.

Yep, I currently have the original PS3 coldboot installed from HFW tools (maybe they aren't compatible with 4.90, they all said 4.89 signed last time I checked, maybe that's the problem (btw internally what's the difference between them? What version changed the internal code to an old version from what I've read before that also caused UI bugs?).
