PS5 How does this happen?

So my brother is after a PS5 and he found one local for $550 guy has receipts showing it is only 3 months old. Then I was sent this pic asking if he should buy it? I screamed no of course but had to share. I can't imagine what their house looks like if this happens in 3 months.
