PS3HEN How to backup installed pkg ?

Can I just copy the game folder and save it on my external hdd and delete the icon on xmb
and then copy the directory back into games and start playing. ???

The best thing to do would be to copy the entire folder to PC and use the package builder in the excellent PS3 Tools by @aldostools.

Don't forget the rif/rap files

I backup the /game/ and exdata folders.

Once transferred back to the PS3 a rebuild of the database is required for games to show on the xmb and be playable.
