PS2 How to fix Virtua Cop Elite Edition not loading on OPL.

Hi, I have a big problem.

When I attempted to load up and start playing Virtua Cop Elite Edition, I can only see the black screen. (SLES_521.29.Virtua Cop Elite Edition)

I tried so many times on OPL and it doesn't load the game.

How do I fix this issue? THNX.

Press triangle when you selected the game and go to Game Settings, enable Mode 1, go back and try "Test Settings" or "Save Settings" if you want to save it.
If that isn't enough try Mode 1 and Mode 2.

I've used both the Japanese and PAL release on OPL 0.9.3 and 1.0 successfully using Internal HDD and SMB. You should use the Japanese version since it is 60Hz and also has English (this is one of the games that actually uses the console's language setting).

Try the compatibility modes like the others have said. You said you are playing it off USB so make sure the ISO is defragged. Usbutil should be able to help you there.

If that doesn't work, I would then suggest you either re-rip the disc to .ISO format using ImgBurn or try recreating the ISO from your previous BIN/CUE rips using Virtual CloneDrive or some other program that can convert them.

It's okay guys, I think it worked with USB when I created it from the ISO and it was a CD game, not DVD. I did it using USBtil.

Yeah, it's a CD game (hence the BIN/CUE I mentioned). Glad to hear it is working now.

Hi, I am triying to run virtua cop on OPL too, but with no result. What did you do exactley to make it work? I tried both the pal and japanese iso, both just don't start
