PS3 I Need Help For Broken Blu-Ray Ps3

You can either try to find or build yourself a noBD CFW for DEX or enable BDEmu from the debug settings and plug a USB that has BDEmu setup.

i've already tried to build a cfw on mfw builder but i response an error.. if i install this bd emulator on an usb i can convert the ps3 dex to cex so i will istall a noBd Cfw?..

If you managed to install rebug d-rex 4.84.2 then yes

But how is posible he completed the installation of dex pasta cfw 4.84 ?
A normal firmware (without the noBD patches) should not complete the installation, it should stop at an intermediate point of the installation when the installer checks the BD controller chip revision, software version, etc.. right ?
But he completed the firmware installation

As long as his BD logic board is connected, he can install the FW although apps don't launch. I've seen ppl installing CEX OFW with their new bd board without its marriage.

The root of the problem is he had a connector of his BD board broken, i been explaining him how to fix the connector (with a plastic sheet, cheap and easy fix), and it looks he can complete a firmware installation now, so it looks the problem of the broken BD connector has been solved
Thats my understanding with the few info he gives

i do know how i've waited 36 minutes on check in progres.. after a screen with this text has apparead "click on yes for format the hdd". i've waited and the cfw was installed.
