Germanloco, are you using a BT adapter with your DS4 ? Can you share your configuration ?
I also came to the conclusion that 0.8 breaks compatibility for DS4 wired . I will try with older versions .

Hi! I use 0.8, with Bluetooth Dongle, a regular one, nothing special, Netmark. I Will upload a video AND some pictures.
 
Just a quick info, the game GTA V does not work with DS4 controller ( wired or wireless ) unless you update the game . So, you don't necesarily need ps3xpad . Same for other wired controllers, but you need to test .

Yes, GTA V not working with custom controller (xpad), and GT 6 with DS4 after a while, DS4 controller stop working. Other games support Sixaxis, home button, etc, without problem.
 
When i use the Start+Select+square to open the menu my ps3 freezes...any ideas on how to solve it?
have you found a fix for it yet? facing the same problem, i tried resigning sprx both with aldostools and ESSSE to no avail

some things that could help trouble shooting is that the screen freezes when the VSH menu shows, and the menu is full black, no X image in the background as shown in the original ps3xpad post, and USB devices connected shows 0, even though im using wired ds4
 
I'm coming here since the webman on github didn't get me anywhere even though I tried everything I was told.

My ps3xpad was working fine till I installed webman and than it just started freezing when loading hen and I had to do the boot_plugin blank on stick method. I even used ps3tools to reassagin the sprx and didn't work.

Thing I tried:
Using ps3mapi but the program on my pc just kept sayning denied access from device even though i enabled it in webman setting
added a boot init text that i added to main directory with a command with path and it did nothing
installed webman as lite version
 
I wonder if this can be used to enable other racing wheels on PS3. For example I have the Thrustmaster TMX which is the Xbox version of the T150. Is this possible?
 
I can not get this to work with my ps3 controller wireless it only works if the controller is plunged in with the usb. all looking to do is switch the L1 L2/R1 R2 on my ps3 controller. I did buy a brooks wingman XE2 but the analog sticks sensitivity as way off and hard to control so its not a option. I will try a ps4 controller wen I get the chance. Spending money on something that may or may not work is hard for me to do right now. Is there a guide anywhere? I might have missed something mostly good at this kind of stuff so not sure. If anyone can help or point me in the right direction me would be thankful

I wonder if asking an AI bot to use the PS3 open-source SDK and create open source code in whichever format best suited for a PS3 plugin is doable. Maybe it could work enough for a coder not as familiar with the PS3 architecture specifically?

Just a thought as I don't even know how possible it even is.
Maybe this should be it's own thread as to not mess up this one.

That's not how AI works.
 
I see, it is possible but looks like it's more involved than I was thinking. Probably would need a LLM made for PS3 architecture. Here is a blog with some information if any are interested.

Again, that's not how AI works. For making code you need sources, tons of sources, in order to train your model. In order to train your model you need proper compilers, SDKs, libraries, linkers, etc. (all copyrighted and closed-source), that are either run on emulated or on real architecture.

And then, after all of that, you may try to attach some kind of NLP AI that can work with your trained model. But again, no results are guaranteed as AI code generation does not produce fully working code without some kind of human intervention.
 
Is there a way to make is to PS3xPAD emulates or whatever it does an xbox controller to an accesssory?

Currently using my wireless xbox360 adapter from my xbox guitar hero guitar, it works in XMB works like a charm, ingame tho it recognizes it as a normal pad instead of guitar, the difference being on a pad in gh games pressing a button does 2 actions simultaniously (presses the color and strums it) on old PS2 guitar hero games you could force strum mode even for controllers where u needed to hold a button and strum with dpad but that isn't present in ps3 versions
